    • RE: New change for camera on new raspberry OS.

@veye_xumm just an FYI, OpenHD is looking to use libcamera in version 2.1 so this would be a great addition for us. Thanks

    • RE: Possible typo in CS-MIPI Wiki

@veye_xumm While we are at it, one more possible typo but this time in the VEYE-MIPI_I2C wiki. For mwbgain the example write function is stating to use wbmode instead of mwbgain. 8fc46b89-704b-4595-9224-e0b01f59f8da-image.png

@veye_xumm Thank you for the prompt response. I'll remove the mwb mode from the code as it is likely not needed for FPV flying.
      Cheers

    • RE: Possible typo in CS-MIPI Wiki

Another possible typo is in the mwbgain setting. in the example it says BGAIN but in the description it says dgain.

Are you also able to provide example values for these? I am developing this without having the a compatible camera so doing it a bit blind for now.

    • Possible typo in CS-MIPI Wiki

      Hi,

I am adding settings for the IMX307 into the OpenHD code.
I am following the wiki and found that for aetarget the example uses hex but the range is in standard numbers. Can you please confirm which should be used for this setting?

@veye_xumm thank you for the further explanation. After reading this and your previous post it makes sense now. Very Much appreciated.

    • RE: IMX307 Decimal Framerate

@veye_xumm thank you for the reply.

I understand how to apply the settings.

What I don't understand is what decimal settings can be used on the camera. What is the relation of decimal frame rate to standard frame rate?
What decimal frame rate should be used for best performance on 1080p, 720p ?

      Thanks

    • IMX307 Decimal Framerate

      Hi,

I am looking to add more settings support to openhd for the imx307 camera. I noticed that the newer firmware of the imx307 uses a decimal frame rate. Are you able to explain the difference between standard and decimal frame rate? Is it just 60fps would be 0.6 in decimal?
      Thanks

    • RE: Open.HD and Smaller form factor MIPI Camera

@veye_xumm thanks for letting me know. Your cameras are pretty unique to us in that they are the only csi connected cameras with wdr. This is a very important feature to us when flying around in changing light conditions. I was thinking that since you took it from a dual board down to a single board that you may be able to reduce the board size and break it out into 2 again to fit everything. In saying that, I know nothing about camera or board design or manufacturing. Really appreciate your products and look forward to more in the future.

    • Open.HD and Smaller form factor MIPI Camera

      Hi VEYE Team and community,
Thank you for the wonderful products you are producing. I am currently developing on the Open.HD project and am very close to having all of the new single board cameras functioning in Open.HD (currently a test image). I have also added settings changes to the UI and have more plans to enhance this in the future.
One thing that stops people from moving to these cameras and is lacking for our project is the size of these cameras. Is there any plans to look at a smaller size for these cameras? Even a smaller multiboard solution would be fantastic. Thanks again for the great work!
