CS-LAMP-IR Frame Synchronization

I am looking for a night vision sensor with IR board, and came across this product.
One of my requirements is for energy efficiency - so illuminating the subject only when the sensor is capturing a frame helps with this.
When in "night mode", does the lamp module synchronize it's pulses of IR light to the frame-sync of the sensor - or is the IR lamp running a full duty cycle?Thank you!
