Hello! I need to connect MV-MIPI-IMX178M camera to khadas edge2 board, based on rk3588. Is there any way to do this? May be some instructions? Thanks in advance.

Hi, we don't have driver support for rockchip platform at the moment.

You can refer to our drivers for Raspberry Pi and jetson platform for porting.

Of course, I think also need to make an adapter board.

Questions will be answered as soon as possible, please be patient.

Hi again! Well yeah, i made some research yesterday, after my question, and it become obvious, that it is not possible to direct connect not MV-MIPI-IMX178M nor existing adapter board to Khadas Edge2. Pin outs are not nearly the same.

So i decided to make my own adapter board - it's quite easy. But i have some questions to avoid mistakes.

          1. So if i will properly connect all DATA lines, CLK and I2C to Edge2 and route all other signals to dedicated 2,54 header will it be enough to make it work? Power supply will be external and enable signal i want to give by simple switch.
          2. Can you give me minor instructions or, maybe, link that explains how to port your driver to another platform? Cause i never did that...

          Thanks in advance.

PS: Did you ever work with CCD matrices? For some scientific cases they are preferable.
