Hello. I want to know what ADC Resolution the MV-XAVIER-ORIN-nCAM-IMX178M has. The fact is that the imx 178 sensor datasheet says that it has an ADC Resolution equal to 14 bits. The documentation for MV-XAVIER-ORIN-nCAM-IMX178M board says that it has an ADC Resolution of 12 bits. Please tell me if it is possible to implement ADC Resolution 14 bits on MV-XAVIER-ORIN-nCAM-IMX178M board or maybe have imx 178 with Jetson where ADC Resolution 14 bits is implemented.

      Sincerely, your buyer.

You are right. Instead of using 14bit AD, we are now using 12bit.
This requires an upgrade of the camera firmware to support it.
From our side, we think that 12bit data is usually enough.
May I ask what is the scenario where you need to use 14bit? What is the need?

I will give feedback to our R&D team.

@veye_xumm , Hello. I would like to use the entire imx 178 resource. So I need a 14 bit ADC. I have 2 more questions. Is it possible to buy MV-XAVIER-ORIN-nCAM-IMX178M now with 14-bit ADC? Or can I implement 14 bit ADC myself on a 12 bit board?

            no,no.
It needs firmware upgrade on our camera core board to support it.
This product can be dynamically upgraded. It means that after you get it, you can also upgrade the firmware through i2c.

I can submit your requirements to my R & D colleagues, but I can't promise you when I can finish it.
