Is there 4 camera system for CS-FPD-CAM Series?
-
Hi,
I am interested in 4 camera system over FPD-Link III that would work with Jetson Nano, TX2, and ARM-based system (i.e. RK3399) such as ASUS Tinkerboard.
Is there any VEYE product in CS-FPD-CAM series with that spec?
Thanks.

@serene
We are very sorry, fpdlink has been out of stock for a long time due to chip availability. -
@veye_xumm
Thank you for the prompt response.How about for GMSL2?
-
@serene We do not have GMSL2 products.

@veye_xumm
Thank you. How about MIPI CS-2?
Do you have a set of breakout board with 4 cameras that is compatible with Jetson (Nano and TX2) and Raspberry Pi equivalent - i.e. ASUS Tinkerboard (RK3399) and NXP iMX8M SBC? -
@serene
Hello, I think this first depends on whether the motherboard support, rather than the camera can access.
For example: Jetson,nano,imx8m,rk3399 and rpi, they do not support 4 mipi csi-2 interfaces.For TX2, yes.

Thank you.I found CS-TX2-XAVIER-nCAM-IMX385 in Amazon:
Amazon - CS-TX2-XAVIER-nCAM-IMX385On the description it says:
"Support Raspberry Pi Zero & W,Pi 4,3 b+,Pi 3, Pi CM. Jetson Nano, Xavier NX."Btw, how about with UCM-iMX8PLUS that has 2x MIPI-CSI, 4 data lanes?
-
@serene
Yes, this is our product.
We don't have access to UCM-iMX8PLUS yet. imx8mplus is in the plan. -
@veye_xumm
What I meant was, on that product description (CS-TX2-XAVIER-nCAM-IMX385), it says that it supports Raspberry Pi. But you mentioned that Raspberry Pi doesn't support 4 cameras.Could you clarify what it means?

@serene
Sorry, that was a mistake. CS-TX2-XAVIER-nCAM-IMX385 is designed only for TX2 and agx xavier.
This kit takes VEYE-MIPI-IMX385 as its core and makes an adapter board, which supports many platforms. -
Hi, Did you check e-con Systems' FPD-Link camera? It has interesting features like Global shutter, onboard ISP, up to 15m coaxial cable support, and many more.

@sophiajackson22 Thank you for the information, I will keep an eye on it.
