Horizontal Line Artifacts on MV-MIPI-IMX264 and IMX287 with NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX (JetPack 6)
-
I'm using the MV-MIPI-IMX264 and MV-MIPI-IMX287 sensors with the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, running JetPack 6 (R36.3), and I've noticed horizontal line artifacts in my images. This issue is especially noticeable with the IMX287 sensor and when I set a smaller Region Of Interest (ROI) on the IMX264 sensor.
Have any similar experience on this?
thanks

@otca
I feel there might be an issue with the image. Could you please help confirm a few points?- The version of the two cameras—please read it using mv_mipi_i2c.sh and send it to me.
- How can this issue be reproduced? Is it intermittent or consistent? How can we replicate it?

@veye_xumm
I think my connections are not as good as it should be.
I'll try in better condition if the problem persist, I'll make a new issue.

@veye_xumm
hello , I have exactly the same problem and this problem occurs when the object in the image starts to move or the camera itself moves, below is my camera version , i use jetson orin nx with carrier SeeedStudio A608
--> version is C 01.34 and L 02.02 -
@mv
May I ask what model of module you are using? Also, please repeat the test on an official nvidia board. -
@veye_xumm I use MV-MIPI-IMX265 But unfortunately, I don't have the official nvidia boards and I will be happy if you guide me on this board

For third-party carrier boards on the Orin Nano or Orin NX platform, we have indeed encountered issues with MIPI signal transmission quality. There isn't a good solution at the moment, so we recommend switching to an official NVIDIA board.
